St. Andre Independence Recognized In Haifan Summit

Summit on Haifan future will dissolve country, grant St. Andre independence.

Abeis, Haifa - The last active citizens of the Free State of Haifa are meeting at the Aviv-Abd-Asi Tavern to decide the future of the slowly dying country. The Free State of Haifa ha remained inactive and dead after its Prime Minister resigned and left the country in self-imposed exile to Natopia amidst an argument in the Government.

With the financial assets of the defunct Haifan Government having already been distributed by order of the Governor-General and the remaining Haifan Government, an Agreement of Dissolution has been proposed by former Haifan Prime Minister Benjamin Meir, based on the settlement proposed by Erlo Sinders. The proposed Agreement of Dissolution grants Port St. Andre independence and establishes the Transitional Government of the Most Serene Republic of St. Andre under the leadership of Meir. The agreement also cedes Abeis and the core Haifan territory to Hamland, with the Republic of the North Antarctic Peninsular Islands being partitioned between the Republic of Mercury and the Realm of Passio-Corum.
